Spare Change, Huge Heart

Two years ago, at age 8, Christ Masters donated all of the spare change he had saved to Flint River Habitat for Humanity.  July 2010, Christ repeated his act of kindness after saving a total of $71.40 in pennies, nickles, dimes, and quarters.  When ReStore Manager Torsha Walker asked Christ what made him want to donate all of his money, Christ simply replied that he wanted to help people.

In this day and time, when children and adults alike are focused on other things, this outstanding young man has had his heart and mind in a different place.  We at Flint River Habitat for Humanity would like to thank Christ for such a generous donation and for the kindness that he has shared with us and role modeled for others.
