Our goal at Habitat is to provide a safe, affordable place for everyone to live. That is where our Homeowner Program comes in! This program provides a way for a Habitat homeowner to purchase a Habitat home at a 0% interest rate.

See our basic qualifications for the Homeowner Program and the Dougherty/Lee County 2025 HUD guidelines based on home size below.

If you are interested in applying for our Homeownership Program and meet the HUD guidelines below based on your family size, complete our interest form and a Habitat staff member will be in contact to go over the next steps.

Homeowner Program Interest Meetings

We are excited to announce our upcoming dates and times for the Flint River Habitat for Humanity Homeowner Program Interest Meetings!

Meetings will take place at Move Christian Church (1501 Whispering Pines Rd, Albany, GA 31707) on Tuesday November 4th @ 1:00 pm & 5:30 pm AND Thursday November 6th @ 10:00 am & 1:00 pm.

During the meeting, we will discuss the Habitat Homeowner Program, its guidelines and income requirements, the timeline for the Homeowner Program if accepted, and how to fill out the application for homeownership. Applications will be given out during the meeting, and Habitat staff members will be available for questions at the end of the meeting. Please plan for the meeting to tentatively last 1 hour.
